Dust on the Breakers (Blog)
Jeff Linsenmaier here ~ I met my friend Roger Green in 1996 when I started playing bass for his band at the time called Idlemind. This band consisted of Roger, myself, Sara Cahoon (who is now a Sub Pop artist) and Patrick Park (currently on Badman Recording Co.). Soon after we met, Idlemind travelled to New York to record an EP with Kurt Ralske (from The Ultra Vivid Scene), it was one of the 1st times I had been in a city bigger than Denver. Roger joined my band, The Czars soon after and we went on to record albums and tour Europe for almost 10yrs together. This is a photo of Roger tracking guitars for the new Dust EP. It's the 1st time we've played together in years, and the results will speak for themselves I think! Oh yeah, and here's a track from that Idlemind NY EP!

Here are some of our favorites:
Video Featuring New Demos: 1921 + Beck and CallIn case you've been wondering what we've been up to lately, we put together this video together as an update. Jeff Linsenmaier has been touring quite a bit this year with Wovenhand and The Fray. Along the way he's been documenting moments of his travels with his Flip camera, accumulating quite a bit of video we are starting to cull through. This video highlights two demos of new songs we wanted to share, along with some selected footage of Jeff's. The demos are of songs 1921 and Beck and Call. These are songs that date back to the very beginnings of the band and have also been performed live a few times. We decided it was time we picked them up again so we've started to hash out some rough tracks. MP3s: Dust Interview w/ UK Songstress Sophie Mac
